Keep a Child Alive with Alicia Keys is the story of five young Americans who won the chance to travel to South Africa with Alicia Keys as she visited HIV clinics funded by Keep a Child Alive in Johannesburg and Durban in South Africa. This transmedia project began as a texting and social media contest during an Alicia Keys live-stream on YouTube. It culminated in a documentary for broadcast on Showtime and was sponsored by CoverGirl.
